The ideal candidate will be pursuing a career in graphic arts and design with 2 years of experience and a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite: Ps, Ai, Id, Dw. Experience with website design and languages is a huge benefit.

– Writing copy for blog posts, campaigns, and social media
– Maintaining GSF News Room
– Researching media partners and community building
– Co-managing social media channels, including reviewing and reporting from Google Analytics
– Creating shareable and on-brand content
– If local, attending events as part of the team

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, proven writing and journalism skills, and an existing following on social media networks.

‐ Photo editing, organizing and databasing

The ideal candidate will be pursuing a career in photo and/or video with a working knowledge of Photoshop/Lightroom (or equivalent) and Final Cut Pro. The intern must have all their own equipment including computer and camera. We are looking for someone who will be a self-initiator with a real attention to detail and an artistic eye.

Internship terms generally begin in January, April, July and October. We start the application process three months prior to each term. End dates are flexible. Internships are 3-5 months in length, depending on the season. Our Part Time Internship applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Internships are unpaid.

College Internships are available part time (20-25 hrs/week) to those both local and out of state.

College credit is available and recommended for the internship. We suggest that you start talking with your school advisor now about the steps necessary for this. We are more than willing to fill out the needed paperwork to ensure that you get academic credit for your work with us.

If you are a senior in high school working towards post-secondary classes and interested in working throughout your senior year, that is also available for a limited number of hours.
