Accreditation To Determine A Transparent Nonprofit
By Josie Bixler
Nonprofits are dependent on the donations of their communities to reach their mission and goals.
It can be difficult to determine what companies and organizations are trustworthy with your funds when anyone can claim to be ethical and transparent on a website. Claiming to be ethical and transparent is one thing, but supporting those claims is quite another.
When you give, you want to give confidently, so here is a compilation of accreditation to look for when you’re thinking about donating to a nonprofit or 501(c)(3) organization. Accreditation can usually be found in the footer or in the financials section of a website.
